Spain Blues / Latin / Rock Export No. 1 the VARGAS BLUES BAND will come for a 3 week tour through Germany. As a special guest they have JOHN BYRON JAGGER, the nephew of Rolling Stone’s Mick Jagger. John will be performing some songs for his upcoming studio album. The style of Javier Vargas and his band remembers about the famous Stevie Ray Vaughan, but also surprises with Latin Sounds and elements of Flamenco connecting with the vocabulary of the Blues and Rock. A refreshing mix from Blues, Rock & Latin which is present on 20 album-releases in his long career. The band has worked with different musicians like Chris Rea, Junior Wells, Carey Bell, Louisiana Red, Larry McCray. In 1994 Javier Vargas met Carlos Santana. Carlos Santana covered Varga´s song „Blues Latino” and made it much more successful. Santana invited Javier several times to the stage at Santana´s concerts. Latest infitation was in 2016 at the Starlit Festival in Marbello, Spain.
